Matakana Botanicals is a New Zealand brand with a rich history and a commitment to creating high-quality skincare products inspired by the natural resources of the Matakana region.

The company was originally called Les Floralies which was founded in 1988 by Colyn Devereux. In later years Colyn’s son Danvers took the reins and in 2014 purchased a neglected farm in Matakana to create a special new eco home for the business and to launch as Matakana Botanicals.

Today Danvers leads the collection of brands and is deeply involved in every aspect of the business, from product innovation to sourcing and growing local ingredients.

Passionate about New Zealand, Danvers is inspired by the opportunity to develop products using the finest the country has to offer. Matakana Botanicals sources hero ingredients such as Extra Virgin Olive and Macadamia Oil, from the Matakana region, wild-harvested Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil from Great Barrier Island, and Lavender grown and harvested on the property.
